Dental veneers are a great solution to all of these issues!
A Simple Dental Treatment
Veneers, also known as laminates, are tooth-colored and tooth-shaped shells made out of porcelain or composite resin materials. They are cemented securely to the front of your natural teeth, hiding any imperfections and creating a beautiful smile.
The placement of veneers is not an invasive procedure and requires almost no upkeep beyond regular brushing and flossing. They are custom fitted just for you to enhance your smile. They're also stain-resistant, thus maintaining your healthy looking teeth for longer.
The Process of a Laminate Treatment
Schedule an appointment at Moore-Berry Dentistry to determine if veneers are right for you to get the results you want. Dr. Berry or Dr. Moore will discuss the desired color, shape and size of your teeth with you and possibly make a cast of your teeth and mouth.
A fraction of your tooth enamel will be removed to prepare for the veneers. The process is essentially pain-free, but local anesthetic can be used if you desire. A cast of your teeth and mouth is sent to the lab, where your custom veneers are crafted. It usually takes 1-2 weeks for them to come back to the lab.
You'll be able to make any last-minute changes you want to their size and shape. When you're satisfied, your teeth will be cleaned and polished before the final bonding is done with dental cement. The finishing touches will be completed by Dr. Moore or Dr. Berry.
If necessary, a follow-up appointment will be scheduled to check on the placement of the veneers as well as your gums' health.
